My Prezi

          My Prezi presentation offers a brief explanation of my passion for teaching. My certification will allow me to teach elementary grades, which is considered Kindergarten - 3rd grade. I'd prefer to teach 2nd or 3rd grade, although I'd be happy to teach any grade at this level. I designed my presentation with my classmates and even potential employers in mind. My goal is to describe my intentions as a teacher and to lay a foundation of sorts for my upcoming teaching career.
          I would definitely describe my experience with Prezi presentation software as challenging. However, that could have simply been because I was unfamiliar with it. I had difficulties manipulating my text within the frames, and it took me awhile to figure out how to insert hyperlinks. I did like the appearance of the presentation and that it offers an alternative to PowerPoint. However, besides being non-linear, I didn't see how it  provided more creative options compared to PowerPoint. I am not completely sold on Prezi and will likely continue to use PowerPoint in the future, although I am not opposed to giving Prezi another shot.
